Many years ago a small group of shooters got together in central Virginia and formed an IDPA club to promote practical action pistol shooting. Over the years we've had a great time, made some good friends and spread to include shooters from across the state. In 2008 ICORE was added to the family. This blog will document some of the fun and antics we engage in. So if you're interested in shooting a handgun (and occasional shotgun or long gun) for sport, feel free to see what we do and then come out and join us.

The RRPC IDPA Matches have traditionally be the very best in Central Virginia in my experience. The Club organization has been very supportive and the Match Directors most thoughtful in the design of the Courses of Fire offered.
